I need to flip part of a uv map for the default ebony battleaxe I am trying to line up the different parts of the uv map so I can make one texture over them and get rid of that line in the blade but I have run into a problem. The area of the axe where the blade connects to the pole has two sides to it instead of being mirrored so if I scale the uv map to fix the line in the blade, I run into complications with that split part. The parts look like they will line up just fine if I could mirror that other part of the pole but there is no option for mirror or flipping only rotate or move around? Does nifskope use a keyboard shortcut for that?

I'm... not sure I completely understand your problem, but I have two suggestions.

Suggestion 1:

Try importing whatever image you're using into Photoshop, and putting the same image on top of a clone of itself, and flipping it. Then, delete the overlay image until it only has the parts you need.

Suggestion 2:

Send me the files you're using (.nif/.obj/.dds), and I can try to polypaint them as per the style of your texture, using the model itself, rather than a flat image.

The file I am looking at is the default ebony battleaxe model the 1stperson model because it has a higher polycount. I thought about suggestion 1 a while after I posted the topic but it would be difficult to line up the other side that way so that a split or line in the texture doesn't appear but even if it does the line would be less noticeable because it would be in a place where a line might be seen anyway. I will try suggestion 1 and see what happens thanks for your help.
