KMC Weapons Pack

Figured I'd just start a new post to preview the new weapons I am adding. These will all be featured in the next MERC release, but I will also be doing a stand-alone release for them. I only have 3 to preview at the moment.

KR-77 / Shock Rifle

KR-77C / Compact Shock Rifle

KR-23 / Tranquilizer Pistol

KR-62 / Pulse Rifle

KR-17 / Grenade Launcher

KR-01 / Sniper Rifle

KR-15 / Assault Rifle

The last two weapons are going to be replicas of real-world firearms that I designed. Sort of legacy products manufacturing by the Fallout 3 version of my company. Anyhow, I'll posts updates and images as things progress.

Cool, but as a regular shooter and a gunsmith in education, could you please show off some pictures of prototypes or something like that, pretty please? (that or atleast a link to the website for the company could be nice)

Holy pancakes!

I'll be honest, I'm getting tired of AR-15 platform based weapons (the exceptions are HK416 and HK417) But that Paladin is freaking nice!

You gonna make this able with CALIBR so I can use the same ammo on my G-3 and your Paladin perhaps?

(I actaully looked up .308 Win in a book about ammunition production I'm borrowing to be sure it was the same ammo)

I would agree that the market did swell with lower manufactures, including us. We started 4 years ago. I personally think the 416 is overrated. Granted I've always loved HK products, but for them to step down from the roller block back design of the G3 to an AR gas piston platform. POF probably has one of the best and most cost effective gas piston platforms.

My AR-15 platforms are not different than any other than we use a lot of Magpul stuff. We try to sample from the best to build the rifle. Not like the SW M&P or other rifles that force their entire package on you.

I designed the Paladin to be a precision sniper rifle. The SR-25 / M110 had issues and for the price didn't have "enough". I attended sniper school and the Paladin held or out performed against plenty of bolt guns. The first Semi-auto to do so for the state of Arkansas.

Well the MERC mod release will not be compatible with CALIBR. The stand-alone release of the weapons will. There is a possibility to use the mod with merc, I just haven't made it that far enough to make that decision.

@Saint

Well the KR-77C is suppose to be the submachine gun version. It has a 3rd of the damage, but still do a heavy mod damage to limbs. I have two versions of the model shown above. One is held like a rifle with the stock extended. The other version is with the stock collapsed and is roughly the same size as the SMG and is held like the SMG.

@Jaysus

The IRL? I designed the receiver set for the PCR Paladin (the camo rifle in my second post).

@Nab

I have not problem with the 416. They are great guns, but I compare cost and efficiency to determine a good weapon. If I had to choose a weapon I needed in combat, I'd pick the HK-21.... but I'm not ready to fork out 30k for it either. As far as a .308 hole-puncher... I'll take a carbine FAL any day. Now the only new gun that I am looking forward to working with is the Magpul Massada / Bushmaster ACR.

so your putting the pali into a mod pack/test pack. Hmm....what type of scope reticle are you using or are you doing a custom one? And would you consider making a Hk-21? Please?

Sorry to whine but that's a great friggin gun...and combat wise....SCAR. .308 version though.
