swedishmeatball
**This is a very messy thread, so I'll just post a new one.. The title doesn't even describe what I'm looking for. >.< ** Original:I recently bought Rosethorn Hall in my game. I've been messing around with the house using Construction Set (Messing being the operative word. I know nothing about modding. Or, next to nothing..). After taking the servant's quarters into account, I've begun to want to change Eyja as well. Unfortunately, I'm afraid the mod is probably beyond my skills, if it's even possible. What I want to do is change Eyja into a completely different person, but still have her live at Rosethorn Hall. I'd like to change her into my fiance. (Probably a male Imperial named John, when I'm done) But I'm wondering if this is possible. I realize I would have to also remove her voice, or alter chat options, since it'd be disturbing to me for my fiance to talk in a female voice. Just asking if such a mod is possible. A point in the right direction and a few tips would be nice. Preferably from someone who knows more than I do.. xD

Also, I'm wondering if I could make her(him) sleep in the upstairs bedroom? Just asking if such a mod is possible. A point in the right direction and a few tips would be nice. Preferably from someone who knows a lot more than I do.. xDVoices are inherent as is dialogue. If you change the name You will remove alot of dialogue. Im not sure whats involved in dialogue regarding marriage and relationships. The voices will change if you change them to male if the characters male. It changes with race too. Modify the ai package to make them sleep in a particular bed

(Currently I'm messing around with Eyja on my own, but very blindly.)Thanks for the response, by the way. (:

(:Not a problem, What we try to be here for :) Bring up the character npc, click on the ai button in the lower left. Be sure to rename the package. Double click the package type "sleep" or create a new package by rightclicking and hitting new. In the upper right is package type, it needs to be sleep. The first tab at the bottom is schedule. This will set the time you want the actor to sleep. Time is the starting time 0 -23 (military time 0 is midnight) duration is how long to sleep so if you have starting time 0 and duration 6 the actor will get up at 6am. ( There are a couple ways to do the next part. In location tab, click the button check and you can just do near editor (or current) Location and set it to something that includes the bed. If there are multiple beds in the area and you want a specific bed You will have to do the following: Click the bed and check at the bottom to make sure its a persistent reference. If so the under then in the location tab click on near reference and then click "select reference in render window". The cross hair will come up and put it over that bed. (it will turn white with a valid reference and red elswise) Click and it will automatically link the reference to the package. Click okay and you made your package. swedishmeatball
There's only one bed, so I put the location as "SkingradHouseForSaleUpperFloor". I hope that's right. Thank you so much! He should sleep properly now. Do you know how to edit voices, also? I have the voice files that my fiance made, and they're in the Sounds folder, but, I don't know how to remove Eyja's default and replace it with my own. If you don't know, that's fine too. I appreciate the help. (:
