Requesting a sig

Hey hey sup Nexus Blacksnake89 here, I need an ECKO squad sig made. I need it specifically for use around a certain forum where I'm trying to get ECKO squad known. Me and the other 2 squad leaders are trying to recruit and I'm the only one left w/o an awsome Call of Duty sig.

I need someone to take the image here http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/b...ages/large1.jpg and turn it into a sig. If you need me to E-mail you the file I can do that just tell me in a PM.

 

I want the image to say ECKO in the top left by the helicopter's cockpit. It shouldn't stretch any further that the area of open sky between the corner and the heli's body. On the top right side between the heli's tail and the corner I want it to say squad.

 

On the bottom left corner I want my name BlackSnake89 and on the bottom right I want ECKO Leader. I want all 4 areas of text to be colored like the modern warfare text in the games title. An example will be presented if you need it. All areas underlined are to show the text I want in the sig please DO NOT actually underline them in the sig.

 

The completed sig needs to be 500x100 pixels or less and 19.5kb or less to fit in the forum's sig regulations.

Kudos to whoever makes my sig and if possible I'd like it completed within a couple days but it's not required.

Just read the topic and starting to work on it, this shouldn't take too long. Are you sure about the size requirement though? That low file size can mean a heavy quality loss. I'll work on the draft till you get online and can provide the color sample for the font.

 

Edit1; Now I can finally see the fun challenge in this. This is doable, but the hard part will be making the text large enough to be readable, while trying not to cover the entire image.

 

Edit2: Your sig is about to get small, really small. Can't get under the file size rule even with 300x63 and at lowest quality. Max quality level 12; 40,1KB, lowest quality level 0; 20,2KB. This is gonna be more of a banner than an actual sig.

 

Edit3; Switching format from .jpg to .gif, for some extra optimization.

 

Edit4; 350x74 in .gif, 19,1KB, here's the first quick draft which is waiting for the colour theme you want, fonts aren't yet finalized.

Hey sorry to but my nose in but I saw the chopper was not as sharp as it could have been so I sharpened it up.if it helps at all.

Didn't sharpen it yet, to avoid pixelation, which you can see at the rear for example. Gonna do it myself a bit later, so I can still move the layers and remove the pixelation later manually.

Cool it's looking good so far Elraine. I had originally wanted all the text to have the coloring of the modern warfare logo but it's looking pretty good so far. I like the font in the second image. Change BlackSnake89 to red, keep ECKO Leader how it is and change ECKO and squad to the moder warfare coloring.

 

When you're done with this one would you mind making a similar one for me to use here? I have a different image I'd like to use for that one.

Can be done; Working on the finalizations on this one atm. Could take a little while tho, as I lack a few tools that could make this faster.(=I have to do the glow manually.)

Added shadows to the fonts below, to make them easier to read, as plain red just blended in a bit too much.(The shadows can be removed if ya want.)

No no the shadows look great thanks. The red kinda blends in to the sky alone but with the black shadow it looks great thank you. It's looking great so far, when it's done I'll post the image for the next one.

Ok so I posted this last month and I haven't heard anything back from you Elraine and I'm starting to wonder what happened. Hell I think I might have even necro'd. It'd be nice to have some warning next time.
