Thasic
I keep crashing at startup. I don't even get to the load screens. I have a high end computer. I am running many mods, or trying to anyway. I played the game for some time before these issues started. How many mods is too many? I don't have any DLCs loaded. Could one of the mods be having a problem with that? I am going to try a clean reload and see if I can run the game with no mods or patches and then add them a few at a time until I can maybe target a single issue. Any input would be helpful. Zuzaski
the mod limit is 255 (FF in FOMM) fallout 3 crashes at startup when a mod that has a master does not have the master loaded before it it can happen when a mod has an esm with a older datecode than the main Fallout3.esm load up FOMM and make sure fallout3.esm is the first one to load if its something else, and easy way of finding out the culprit: load up Fo3edit, click ok on the first window, and wait for it to load the right gray section is a verbose list of what its loading. when it chokes on the problem file it will tell you most likely its some mod that depends on a hairpack or DLC \/ links to the programs are in the post linked to in my signature \/
