Thor.
That's right this can pave the the way for space travel and many other every day things we take for granted. http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/168771-researchers-seemingly-break-newtons-third-law-create-optical-diametric-drive This brake through might mean???. Can we go faster then light???. :turned: More mind boggling stuff. Edited October 19, 2013 by Thor.
Keanumoreira
I don't know about this. To go faster than the speed of light, you need to be less than massless (which, these scientists seem to have solved, with this so called "negative" mass), but I don't see how that can be possible. Quantum physics has a infamous history, especially in its clashing with the theory of relativity, but c'mon...negative mass? How can you be less than massless. I just can't even picture something like that. The effective mass, however, seems somewhat plausible...I suppose. But that "less than massless" idea just keeps messing with my head. This is just something I have to see to believe. Edited October 19, 2013 by Keanumoreira
Thor.
Quantum physics and computers are messing with the daily life of physics out there, soon the whole shebang will be unlocked. Edited October 20, 2013 by Thor.
