keeronsmods Posted July 11, 2022 Share Posted July 11, 2022 I'm working on a follower mod - based on the vanilla framework but a custom voice. Then something realy strange hapens. After recruting the follower I ask him to do one thing. The next time I start the dialougue the normal lines of dialogue i visable - but it is not posible to select any of them. I have som options in the dialogue that runs some special scenes, they causes this effect. So do also the normal "Wait" command - after I told him to follow again the dialogue bugs. But the "Can we trade some things" options can be used and the dialouge works as normal. This is realy strange - I have never experienced that there are visable but unclickable dialogue options. Nonresponsive-ness with dialogue is typically because they are busy saying or doing something else. Then I just have to hunt down the scene or package. Not an instant culprit to blame this on, since its basically an AI 404 you seem to have encountered. keeronsmods Posted July 24, 2022 Author Share Posted July 24, 2022 (edited) Looking into Sphereds sugestion that didn't seem to be the cause. Using the Favor dialouge and the Wait (or rather the "followagain" dialouge since the dialouge continues as he is waiting) has the same result for the dialouge - the scenes may not have runned - and they are copied from the vanilla DialougeFollower quest. The "I need to trade" option works without locking the options - and that is also as vanila. Perhaps an akspeaker.OpenInventory() is to simple to mess things up? But one realy interesting thing - If I change cell the dialouge works as intended again. So as it is the dialouge works only once (for some options) - after that you can see the options but you can't select anyone. But if you change cell it's all back to normal - but works only once.
