Slydessertfox
So for whatever reason, when I see Caesar's legion members (and only them), they are just a floating head with 2 hands and a weapon. No helmet on the head either, just a head. Also, sometimes giant red boxes with white explanation marks follow them around. It's really weird and incredibly annoying and game breaking for me. I run a ton of mods, but that had never been a problem. Thanks for any help in advance guys, appreciate it.

Have you ever tried using FNVedit, BOSS and check the load order as well as if some of the mods are conflicting with each other? Also posting your load order won't hurt. :)
Slydessertfox
I do have BOSS, and FNVedit, so I will try them again. I have also been having problems with crashing so the load order might explain it. Ok, after using the FNVedit, I it only confused me more-Awhile ago, I moved my steam folder from the program files (X86) and it seems that it can't find some of the files because of it. I'll post screenshots of my load order, I have way too many mods. http://i.imgur.com/VXcRTYa.png http://i.imgur.com/8kkbfBA.png http://i.imgur.com/hGkmBpS.jpg The third is from Cottonwood cove down. Anyway, it appears I uninstalled BOSS, so I'm gonna go reinstall it. EDIT: BOSS just crashes when I choose Fallout New Vegas... drithius
Why do people install a bunch of mods and then come on here and expect others to pick a needle out of a haystack for them? 1. Get BOSS working.2. uninstall all mods.3. Make an updated save.4. Begin reinstalling mods a couple at a time and loading your save to detect problems. READ WHAT YOU'RE INSTALLING! It doesn't do much good to install an OWB IWS mod if you don't have OWB. Also, see that green check mark? Look under it for something to help us all. Slydessertfox
Sorry, I didn't expect to have to post the load order, I was asked to. I have been spending most of the day trying to figure it out myself, I just thought there was something I was missing here that someone here might have been able to spot. Usually I am fairly good at figuring out these problems on my own. Anyway, after doing some testing on my own, when I re-activated Caesar's New Regime, the legion looked like...well how it does in Caesar's New Regime. Everything looked fine. When I de-activated it again, it reverted back to the floating heads and hands. Could it have something to do with Caesar's New Regime? edit: Also, I do have OWB... it's just down on the load order for esm's, as is Dead Money. Come to think of it though, I should move them up to the top of the load order.. Edited October 20, 2013 by Slydessertfox
tonakis2108
Yup you should move all the master file on the top of the list and FalloutNV.esm should be the first file.To export your load list open the Fallout Mod Manager, choose your game ( Fallout Ne Vegas), then click the third option "Load order" then export it somewhere you have access to. When you've done it copy and paste the list of your load order here. :) The next thing you should do is to check for conflicts, go to Tools --> Conflict Detector. It should find if some mods that you use causes a conflict between them as a result it becomes the glitch you see.
Slydessertfox
Thanks. I solved part of the problem. Apparently an update to Caesar's New Regime was still in the load order. I promptly de-activated it. That seems to have gotten rid of the floating heads and hands and bring back the usual legion look. There's one small annoyance though still-a few of the legionaries don't have any clothes on (btw I'm at the raid camp by the ranger station). I'm gonna try what you said tomakis2108, and get back to you. I think I know what it is, so I'll get back to you guys.

Slydessertfox
I'm thinking it might be the savegame. I've tried almost every mod that could affect it, but no use. I'm starting a new game anyway, so that's not a problem. I'll get back if it still happens in the new game.
