Balkhan1
Where should the obmm/mods folder be? In the Oblivion folder or the Oblivion/Data folder?

jaosals42
You sure? I've installed plenty of mods in the data folder. Only thing I'm sure to be careful about is making sure they are loaded in the correct order, which is accomplishable with OBMM.

bben46
I think you have misunderstood what OBMM is, it is not a mod, so it does not install like a mod. It is a separate program that you run before Oblivion that allows you to do things like change the load order of mods and other useful things. It has a built in launcher that allows you to start Oblivion, with OBSE if you have it installed. OBMM actually closes before Oblivion starts. If you are not making any changes to load order, or prefer to launch Oblivion & OBSE your self, you don't even need to start it at all. Oblivion will remember the last load order settings from the last time OBMM was run. However when you install a new mod, it is a good idea to run it again. If you are still not sure, please read the instructions included in the readme. There is a self installer included that automatically places it in the right folder. If you didn't get the self installer version, it is available here: http://timeslip.chorrol.com/obmm_download.html Just download and run the self installer. That is all you need.
