STuRoK83
I had probably over 10,000 caps worth of goods in the dead Brotherhood of Steel dude that you get the Fat Man from just in front of the 3Dog's GNR building.. I came back after the "Picking up the trail" main quest part and suddenly the place was a warzone of BofS's and mutants - and my storage dude was GONE !!!! I'm devastated lol !! I would probly waste 5 hours or more of my life if went back to before doing this part of the mq. Don't really want to do that but I'm tempted to because I had SOO much stuff in there!! over 1200 lbs! I know because I went back to try to move it all when I was considering doing it all over again.... Is there any way to recover all those goods after he's disappeared ??? any way thru the console or anything??!! Thanks!
Ygfbv
Not unless you remember the exact amount of items, and what their objectids are. If your that desperate for caps though, use the console to give yourself 10,000 caps by typing player.additem f 10000Don't store items in respawnable containers..or dead bodies. STuRoK83
he wasn't re-spawnable! thats why I kept stuff in him for so long! It was't really about the money cuz I have 10000 already from hard -smart- work (lvl 14 w/out cheats). I just had a ton of stuff in there like tons of stuff to make all the schematic weapons and explosives, two fat mans, tons of rocket launchers and miniguns..............on and on.. It's about losing all those hours of play, about ruining the feel of the game now that everything I had saved is gone! It's like starting over and there's only half the world left to acquire things from !! :( lol. oh well thanks for the tip about player.additem. I looked up the id codes and I guess I'll go that route to get a few things back- although its gona feel like cheating especially since the weapons will probly be full condition :/
