Thought of a mod to add immersion. Here's the deal: when you have broken (or dented) your precious ebony longsword and elven cuirass, you take the repair hammer and repair them. Then, you fight, they are dented again, and again, you can fix them to be as good as new. HOW the hell is this possible? :verymad: If you keep repairing a sword in RL, the metal will eventually wear off. The same goes for the armor.

 

So, how about a script which would, after each repair to the item, decrease - slightly - the max health of the item? That would really make you think "Gee, I have to buy a new sword soon, this one's served its time", adding to the RPG experience. Of course the decrease would have to be, as I said, very slight. Maybe, a quality (<steel) sword would last... 500? 1000 repairs? I dunno.
