xDLGx
Thinking about reinstalling Oblivion again, been a few years since I last played it. Of course I will be modding the crap out of the game, but there are so many mods out now that it's become a bit of a jungle. What I'd mostly like is a list of essential texture and visual improvement mods to make the game look as good as possible... but if anyone feels that some gameplay changing mods are essential I don't mind suggestions there. :thanks:

SpacemanSpIiff
Deadly Reflex 5.0 is out. Its 99% stable if you installed it and the patch correctly. Just make sure you are running it through OBSE. http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8273 Also. Midas' Magic spells of Aurum is number 1 on the top 100 for a reason....Its THE BEST magic mod ever. http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9562 Any of the unique landscapes mods are amazing for sprucing up cyrodiils dull and repetitive look. http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19370 (The compilation of almost all of them...) http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=23573 (Not in the compilation because it was released after said compilation)

xDLGx
Thanks for the suggestions so far. I've started installing mods, see how many I try to put in before I actually start playing. I kinda want to get my hand on the SI expansion but not sure how to get a European copy anymore.
xDLGx
Are there any large high resolution texture replacement packs for the game? Can't seem to find any, only small changes for this and that. Bit surprised actually.

xDLGx
If your up for a task FCOM Convergence is quite good hehe, yeah that looks like it will require some reading before install.
ihateregisteringeverywhere
And there's a plenty of high-rez textures. Both for the body mods, landscapes... and pretty much everything else. I faintly remember that I had one of those... Made all of my textures 2048 and my graphics card cry.. Don't remember the name though...
xDLGx
I found a larger texture overhaul mod finally, looks good. Just want to upgrade the visuals of NPCs now, and select some gameplay changing mods before I actually start. Been a long night of downloading mods. And I rather buy the expansion than download a pirate copy that might not work properly...will be problematic if it's not sold anywhere though.
