jemiari
All of a sudden, I am moving, doing everything faster. Heck, the game seems to be moving 1.5x faster. I'm drawing my weapons and casting spells faster, etc. I'm still at Level 2 and my speed/acrobatics advancement has been paltry. What could be causing this? EDIT: The fGlobalTimeMultiplier line in my Oblivion.ini is set to the default "1", so that isn't causing it.
dezdimona
has your athletics or speed stats increased? once they reach a certain point you can outrun even the horses!
jemiari
Nope, like I said. They have increased by a few points, but nowhere near enough to give me this big a boost. Besides, it's the gamespeed that's gotten faster, not just my character. Setting the above command to 0.85 sets things right for now, though why it happened in the first place remains a mystery. EDIT: About horses, they're surprisingly slow. This is my first Oblivion playthrough, so, do they ever get faster later on?

jemiari
The paint (Prior M's horse) is slow as molasses. Apparently suffering from some mental affliction, too. There's this paint horse that keeps walking into the Imperial City doors at the Waterfront District no matter what.
