LE Two-handed swords they are worn on the hip.

OK! so here is what I'm thinking guys, I'm sick of having a one handed sword like a Katana or something and being forced to use it in one hand I know they are in that one hand tree but they were held with two hands in real life (I know this isn't a realistic game -_-), so I don't want to have an empty left hand when I want to be able to have it on the sword hilt. I mean it would be awesome if someone could make weapons that require two hands to wield but were placed on the hip instead of the back.

 

I'm sorry if I'm being hard to follow, I guess another way I could explain it is if someone shortened down the blade size of some of the two handers and made it so they are carried on the hip not the back. Cause lets face it people, large swords were only ever carried on the back for transport they were never on the back to be battle ready. seriously it is physically impossible to take a blade out of its sheath on your back if the blade is longer than your arm.

 

So basically I hate being forced to either carry an extra sword or shield or even magic in the left hand but I don't want it just flapping about in the wind either. Because seriously if you put two hands on the hilt of a normal sized sword you increase its stability your strength at blocking and the power, instead of just letting your left arm flap about.
