Stuck in front of Temple of the Venerable Ones

Hello,

I am currently stuck before the locked outer door of the Temple of Venerable Ones. We broke thru,

The team set camp, and now outer gate says “key required, cannot pick lock”. Videos I’ve seen of the

Explorers break thru at this point show the player easily opening outer door.

My status…all staffs and snow elf equipment are on display at museum, except for Spear of the Snow Prince which is still in socket in front of Temple of Trinimac. (Went back to take it out of socket, and

Game says I lack the required item, although the spear is visible in the socket). I lack the Warlock ring and Relic, but from what I read, they aren’t asked for until past this point. (Warlock ring notes quest is in my quest list tho)

Another possibility for this I thought of is my Archaeology level is not yet to 75, but I was able to make, and am physically carrying the Shrine of Yffre.

None of the explorers, including Auryen are offering further dialogue choices….I’ve slept at temple front, waited several days, but apparently something doesn’t want me to go past the unpickable

gate. So, the only required item missing is the Spear, and perhaps since its not at the museum or on

my person, Auryen has no way to fetch and bring it, so maybe there is the rub. By the way, I am

playing on Xbox one, so I don’t have the pc console command option to open the door, and the

Quest debug mod doesn’t list DBM_excavation03A to move past the stage I am in, which is Find a way into the temple.

Any help is much appreciated, to assist me in continuing.
