I have CWs mods Stock Clothing Replacer and SI Clothing replacer installed. I am installing CWs mod Sexy Female NPCs and getting conflict warnings. Is it OK to go ahead and install and overwrite stuff?

Do I have to set load order?

Unofficial Oblivion Patch.esp

Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch.esp

DLCShiveringIsles.esp

Colourwheels Sexy Stock Armor & Clothing Replacer.esp

Colourwheels Sexy SI Armor & Clothing Replacer.esp

Apachii_Goddess_Store.esp

Duke Patricks - Semi Unlimited Rings And Amulets.esp

[GFX]_Initial_Glow-all.esp

SW01Plus.esp

plus OMODs

FEC

HGEC

Darnified UI

oh yeah, plus manually installed zips:

IFT

Facial Textures by Enayla (sp?)

Luchaires body seam reducer + hires stuff

make copy of your data file, more than likely its an over write for some of CW's stuff and ignoe the conflict.if it comes out bad you have a clean back up to use

Wouldn't I have to make a copy of the obmm folder too?

no,you can delete the mod if it borks your game

What I'm trying to ask is...if I run into problems I would just copy the whole backup up Oblivion/Data folder and overwrite the borked Oblivion/Data folder, but wouldn't I have to also back up and copy over the Oblivion/obmm folder too since it includes the .omod files of mods in the game?

If all of your mods are in OMOD format, just removing the OMOD will remove the entire mod and allow the older one to replace it. When a mod overwrites, it does it only when the game is started, not on the hard drive. So by removing the mod completely, as an OMOD allows, the original meshes and textures will automatically be installed again.

OBMM will warn you if an OMOD will interfere badly enough to cause a problem with another OMOD. Overwriting meshes and textures usually isn't a problem. That's how the mod changes things.

you should actaully have Colourwheels Sexy Stock Armor & Clothing Replacer.esp load after Colourwheels Sexy SI Armor & Clothing Replacer.esp and Unofficial Oblivion Patch.esp. Then Colourwheels Sexy SI Armor & Clothing Replacer.esp load after Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch.esp.

Sexy Female NPCs mod should be last to load or near last if possible.

edit: Also SW01Plus.esp should load before any mod you might be using of mine because I add sexy mur_ziks sexy walk feature in alot of mods i have released.

Question: this is something that I could not find explained anywhere:

This is my current mod list and load order from obmm - Import/Export - View load order:

Oblivion.esm

Unofficial Oblivion Patch.esp

Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch.esp

DLCShiveringIsles.esp

SW01Plus.esp

Colourwheels Sexy SI Armor & Clothing Replacer.esp

Colourwheels Sexy Stock Armor & Clothing Replacer.esp

Apachii_Goddess_Store.esp

Colourwheels Sexy Lingerie HGEC.esp

Duke Patricks - Semi Unlimited Rings And Amulets.esp

[GFX]_Initial_Glow-all.esp

Colourwheels Sexy Female NPCs.esp

Do the mods load from the top down?

If so, I re-ordered my mods as above...how does this look.?

I've actually got this combination of mods to work. Before I tried to get Chocolate Elves and Corean hair mod working and nearly went insane trying. Later I read how any race mods can cause problems because the NPC in the starting prison does not recognize the race. Anyway I gave up on Chocolate Elves/Corean and just uninstalled Oblivion and re-installed. Now I copied the Data directory to another folder so hopefully I can just copy it if I have any problems.

Thanks for help....
