Kepola
I installed the Fallout Mod Manager and then installed a mod (dragonuv sniper rifle). When I put the downloaded files(from the mod) into Fallout 3 Data it said that I should merge the the original file "textures" with the "textures" file from the mod. I chose to do that. Then when I did that I uses fomm to activate the mod and launch F3. When I loaded the game I was all the way at the begining at the birthday party. My current files weren't there. I then deleted the fomm and the mod. Then when I started the game up, my files were all there but, when I clicked on my current character's profile it said: "This file relies on content no longer available. Do you still want to procede" I said "yes" and everything seemed normal. So I want to know if anything is messed up because I replaced the textures file with the one from the mod. edit: so far the only problem i found is that when I am looking at an item like an empty shot glass or tin can there is no box around the crosshairs. it's a minor problem but its still somewhat annoying. edit: also in my data folder for F3 it seems pretty empty, the only files in interface, meshes, sound, etc. are for the svd(dragonuv weapon) mod. When you saved the game using the dragonuv mod,the data from the mod was saved also, so when you uninstalled the mod and relogged the save recognized the mod missing and that's why the message was displayed. happened to me before to.
