slydi
First i want to thank all the great mod developers out there for making oblivion the game it is. Without you it wouldn't be the same. So that said, the thing that is starting to bother me is the whole high heal thing. seriously i can get a fantastic set of light armor, all gilded and ready for battle , but I'm worried my heel is going to sink in the mud. There are some really great sets that are still practical. There are some I wont use because I cant get over the footwear. One thing to run around the city in something other than armor, but when your crawling, seriously??what do you guy's think.
ihateregisteringeverywhere
I think you should grab Tyraels armour instead ;D.

madman132
Eyecandy, eyecandy and then some more eyecandy.Sure, its not very realistic when female Characters should have their Heels sunken into the Mud but i thought we abandoned realism at the Point where we were hurling magical Fireballs in a Monsters Face. Well ok, it does have some Limits. My ordinary female NPCs don't run around in the Garden variety Domina Outfit which is included in many Mods. My NPCs all have Armor. Except for some higher up Women who are too snobbish to wear armor, they have some nice Clothes.
SpacemanSpIiff
SOME eyecandy is good, I dont nessesarily want to be playing an ugly girl, and Evelynne is kinda supposed to be attractive... That being said I like my armor to look protective, So Evelynne does wear fully covering gear. Its almost a shame, She's got such a beautiful form and she hides it beneath thick plates of metal. :whistling:
dezdimona
if you want realism, then the game should have:Childrenprostitutes wood cuttersForestryvegetable marketsmeat marketsthese have been omitted. It all boils down to someones peronal preference, how boring if we all liked the same thing! BossDweebe
If you don't like the heals you can pull 'em out of the mod,and replace them with low heals from vanilla or another mod. Realistic fantasy. Fanciful realism. Eye candy. Love it.
slydi
thank you for your replies. I wasn't sure where this was go. I'm not taking away the fact it's fantasy, but I try and make it as realistic as possible. I'm a newbie here, and have only maybe 400 hours into the game, and I'm very eager to learn more, like how to remove a heel mesh and replace it. I guess what i want is believable fantasy, casting fireballs is one thing i think, but when i see amazing work and effort go into something only (in my opinion) to get ruined by high heels on a set of heavy armor. Or there is some stealth sets that you could hear on the cobblestones twenty yards away. I think there is a time and a place for everything, so maybe this is more of a request, keep the fancy dress coming, and the bikinis, but make the armor, practical. By the way I run about 12-15 gigs of mods ( not sure if that's a lot, is it?) and I really look forward to trying something of my own, where would be a good place to start, I would welcome any advice. Texture's, house or location mod, something like that. I've never used the tess construction set before but have a moderate understanding of computers and the game structure. Thank you all for your time.
ghastley
There's enough magic in this game to fix little things like sticking your heels in the mud. They're really big thick heels, but enchanted with an illusion spell!
swedishmeatball
I like my lady-character to have dignity! o:< Honestly, how can you have self respect with your butt hiked up and displayed with heels and thongs? *shakes her head*But, yes, there are honestly very few female clothing mods out there that don't have heels or thongs. You might want to try TESource as well as Nexus. I saw a few black full-body stealth gear clothes, but they only partially fit into the game.
