A small but unpleasant problem.

Hello!

 

I have a small problem. It really is small, but unpleasant. I have lots of mods installed, but one of them interferes with vanilla Oblivion icons. I mean those icons that appear ingame. For weapons and armors particulary. They simply are gone. (This is only for Vanilla icons. Weapons and armors added with mods are ok.)

When I enchant any of those items, the small enchantment icon (a tiny purple dot) appears, but not the icon. I don't know witch mod is to be blamed, but I know that I want to keep all of them. I don't think there is a mod that could bring back the icons, but I am sure it is not hard to create such a mod. But because I have no idea how to do this, I am asking it here. Thanks in advance.

Try deactivating each mod one at a time, and see if it fixes the problem.

Well.. as I said, regardless of witch mod is causing the problem, I know that I wont remove it.

 

Come on, can't anyone help? :( I'd gladly do it myself, but I have no experience with modding. Pleeeeease.

Have you tried checking your UI? I Know some versions of Dark/Darnified UI change the icon's, so i would look into what files they place under textures (hopefully your like me and keep all the zips and 7z's intact to use as reference) and see if any of thouse are missing, or if your archive invalidation has invalidated files that you don't have replacements for.

Just deleted a few lines and everything seems normal again. :D Thank you very much! :thumbsup:
