Avoiding dead bodies to Disappear?

I want to decorate my dungeon with some corpses but they disappear. Is there any mod or code to prevent them from disappearing?

Not that we know of. Many are simply game-scripted to "be cleaned up." The original purpose of this programming is to keep Skyrim Save files memory low.

 

We preserve certain powerful bodies for our Dead Thrall spells. But for the game to keep them, you need to place something in their inventory that the game considers a permanent "world item."

 

Many of these items are listed at the Skyrim UESP site. One of them is the Writ of Sealing.

 

You can try a Mod, "Better Dead Thralls," which helps you track the NPC's you resurrect for your personal army.
