Rennn
I thinking about upgrading my PC case.Thoughts on this one? I know it's probably overkill, but since I already have a competent case I'm intentionally looking for overkill. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147176
Thor.
No case is overkill, mark my words. If you can afford it, get it, get it, get it huh. Edited October 23, 2013 by Thor.
blove
I do not think I have ever seen a XL-ATX mainboard.
kalikka
It all depends on your needs. Mobo size-factor? Water cooling? If it's for normal use without OC, it's overkill. Here is a nice ITX: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811352027
Werne
Are you looking for "g@merz lookz" or do you actually want to case to be something other than a roaring hurricane? If the former, buy that thing. If the latter, then I'll need you to answer a few questions - Will you be overclocking? Will you have liquid cooling or a large aftermarket cooler? Which components will be housed in the case? If the answers above include water cooling, overclocking, AMD FX 9590, quad-SLI or XL-ATX mobo, then the case will be adequate. If not, a half-the-price Antec Three Hundred will be adequate, and you save 80$ towards better components. By the way, people usually upgrade cases if they need to (they get a quad-SLI and it gets too hot) or if it gets damaged (falls out the window or something). I'm keeping my components in an 8 year old office case with only one 92mm system fan (and of course, PSU and CPU fans, all fans set to silent), and everything is way below manufacturer's maximum (by that I mean that CPU is 42oC max and GPU is 48oC max). So I fail to see the need for those kinds of cases other than for pure looks, or in case of putting in two tons of components that need to be cooled by a custom-made water cooling system or they'll burst in flames.
