I've read all the other posts relating to crashes but none seem to get close to helping my issue or resolving it , I have very few mods running and the OBMM says no conflicts yet every time when I will play either when I load a old save or new save with nothing changing it crashes , thus making me have to do everything over, here's a list of my mods ,someone please help I'm getting sick of having to remake everything

Oblivion.esm

Cm partners.esm

Wolfpacks.esp

CurseOfHircine.esp

Necromancer shop.esp

DA Werewolf.esp

Curse of Hircine werewolf hunters

Lycanthrope.esp

cuteelff11.esp

help.eso (my own mod which adds one item)

any help would be much appreciated

Start by deactivating your mods one or three at a time.

Play test and see how things go.

I would start by deactivating my own mod first.

EDIT: I might add to this. Even with crash prevention mods

Oblivion will crash when you least expect. You just have to

save a lot.

What I do when my game crashes after I've been in a dungeon and killed

8 or 10 wicked characters and did not bother saving because it somehow feels

like cheating, is to turn the difficulty slider down to 0 and run through again up to

that point merrily killing everyone with just one or two whacks.

btw - as this is my second go at the game I also use the Quick store mod

to get around overburdening, but I use it sparingly.

I've tried just about everything, anything involving enchantment with sigils and items or custom stuff the save wont ever reload successfully it either freezes while going into game or in game or before game can even start , the anti crash mods didn't help much, either way I'm giving up on using my custom stuff, I only run 4 mods at a time and obse is always running with it but oh well i figure it might be a deep problem , thankfully i saved all the bsa files so im just gonna re do all things to ensure a clean start.

You can run a BSA un corrupter in OBMM if you think that is the problem.

Have you tried a starting a new game ?

Do you use auto save ? Don't....

Are you launching the game with the OBSE exe ?

In your second post you mention enchantment with sigils and items with custom stuff.

Elaborate. Are you saying that the game runs O.K. with out whatever these mods are ?

If so then they are the obvious problem.

If you roll it all back and start fresh be sure to only install only one mod

at a time. Then play test.

Whatever - take your time. You say you are sick of it. One of the best ways of getting

installations wrong is while being frustrated. The tendency will be to think "that part is O.K.

I don't have to examine that." It is best to assume nothing is right.

In creator kit I used to make Sigils with different effects then what usually were given to sigils and I would place them in a custom container close to market so I could easily get them , mainly my sigils would be like water breathing and detect life ,I never use auto save but I save every 5 min for safety , I thought Obse starts automatically with obmm.this is my 3rd reinstall, last time I had this issue with too many mixing mods and missing meshes/textures .I thought I was in the clear when I deleted everything but it seems my luck follows me, along with all the other issues the game will not let me patch or update it :wallbash:

Ah ha ! Now maybe we are at the core issue.

Won't let you patch. Most mods have to have a 1.2.--- patch.

Did you try patching before installing mods including OBMM and OBSE ?

If you did then maybe the patch became corrupt in the download.

ALSO - Look at the top of the technical support page for the - problems reinstalling

sticky if you haven't already.

As far as "deleting everything" sure you got everything ?

After deleting everything run the OBMM BSA un corrupter and archive invalidation.

If your personal mod worked previously it should work now.

If it has always caused problems then... Do I have to say it ?

I get the water breathing straight away when I start the game by

going to Weye and doing the Slaughterfish quest. Then I get the night eye

ring, but can't remember where, but I think near the Roxy inn. Don't really

need detect life when you can see in the dark. There is also a mod (OMOD)

that has several different colours to pick from for the night eye (I didn't like the vanilla much)

- Nighteye shader repladement.

I didn't realise OBMM starts OBSE automatically. I just made an OBSE shortcut on

the desktop and changed the icon to an Oblivion one.

I have to add - no such thing as bad luck. Murphys law....
