Durzo187
So you basically want me to move all my fallout files in my game folder to another folder except the DLCs (Anchorage - Main.esm, Anchorage - Sound.esm, and so on) and try to run the game the hard save once if it doesnt crash at all. then remove the mods themselves and try again, then if it doesnt work remove mesh folders to storage folder and test again. Purr4me
pretty much , you only need to remove just installed mods data, not DLC content data. Find out if its' just the game grid or a mod?the OP is the quest here "Fallout 3 Crashing because of mods?", so this is the approach we use...agreed? If by chance the game does in fact lod and run fine? then we add back the mods one at a time. But just for starters, we do a thing of isolating just exactly what is the cause.move all esm and esp data . No Load? now move out textures and mesh files. If there are or is a menu folder? move that out separately as xml files are known also to cause bugs too. Bottom line is if the game runs with no mods, then manually adding in step by step one mod at a time? Finished, Culprit found.... Fix and go.kitty. Durzo187
Oh okay, I'll try that. The I'll uninstall and reinstall Fallout 3 and put mods one at a time and run the game after every intallation.

blove
Rename your "Menus" folder in your Fallout 3 "Data" directory to something else and try starting your game.
Durzo187
Found the problem, it the FWE Combat Overhaul mod, but theres was no problem in making a merge patch, so I don't know what should I do.

blove
Not being a FWE user...I think your install order should be Darn, FWE, then a Darn-FWE compatibility patch of some sort.
