No Damage When You Block.

Is there a mod anywhere that makes it so you receive no damage when you block? I always hate it when your low on health and some guy comes up and even though you block that you die...

Why would you? You receive almost no damage when you're a block Expert or better. Just block more :D

but i´ve trained my blockskill to master and i almost take the full damage :huh:

and anyway its better not receive any damage isnt it :D so i would appreciate that

I play the game with the difficulty slider all the way to the left and even with expert block i lose almost quarter health... You wouldn't loose health in real life would you? maybe some fatigue but no health.

this really isn't that hard a fix. I honestly don't know how to do it myself, but all you have to do is change the defense values on shields and blocking with weapons to what you want

 

poof, you're well defended.

 

I'm sure Duke Patrick did a mod like that, But I'm having a lot of trouble finding it so You'll just have to take my word for it.

There's actually a game setting which limits the maximum amount of damage you can block at 85% or something. Don't need to change anything else.

But, it should be noted that this exists because of how often NPCs block, and how sometimes the only way to kill some things with melee is to just hit them with a power attack when blocking. If the damage is negated, these things could be rather hard to kill.
