Rooker75
Chris Avellone just tweeted this site Fallout: Lonestar takes place in the post-apocalyptic, open-world environment of West Texas. The player assumes the role of the Ranger, an agent of the oligarchic Lonestar Confederacy. Sent to transfer a prisoner from the Pass to the confederate capitol of Reunion, the transfer is ambushed and the prisoner escapes. In tracking down the fugitive, the Ranger becomes embroiled in the fate of Magnifico, a farming community that can miraculously grow crops in the ashy desert wasteland. Raiders from nearby Juarez are determined to take the settlement, and if Magnifico is to survive, they'll need guns and fighters to wield them. The Ranger sets out to recruit six legendary gunslingers and outlaws to defend the farmers when the raiders come to take Magnifico once and for all. Tidus44
Sounds vaguely familiar - Shichinin no Samurai - The Magnificent Seven - Battle Beyond the Stars - Dune Warriors - A Bugs Life - Three Amigos.... and interesting. It sounds like it might be a while (unfortunately) before it gets released though.
Rooker75
It does sound very interesting. At first I couldn't figure if it was something Obsidian was working on or not but apparently it's not. It didn't help when I found this, but that's unrelated as far as I can tell.
