neunen
sorry i dont really know of any videos that show people applying new textures. but im sure if you push through and do it once or twice following written instructions, it will start to become much clearer for you. if i do come across any videos on that specific subject ill be sure let you know. edit: theres this one that shows you how to change textures of an existing item in g.e.c.k. Sharkbait1986
sorry i dont really know of any videos that show people applying new textures. but im sure if you push through and do it once or twice following written instructions, it will start to become much clearer for you. if i do come across any videos on that specific subject ill be sure let you know. edit: theres this one that shows you how to change textures of an existing item in g.e.c.k. Thanks for that tutorial that helped out. Now I finally got the model right, but the texture tends to shift to every kind of texture there is in the game, now why is that really? It can be white and untextured at one moment, glowing purple the next and some other texture from another item or enviroment in the game. In GECK it shows the correct texture, but in the game it does not. what have I done wrong? Okay this is program really starts to annoy me a little... I created a textureset with Brurpo's files I downloaded. I created that static item or whatever, and I have created the weapon item. Inside GECK everything looks like it should, but inside the game the weapon change textures and all that I stated earlier in this message... What is wrong really!? Never mind I finally got it working, turns out I needed to use the program "archive invalidation validation" and after I activated that the texture worked perfect! Thanks everyone for the help and this time I mean it! and thanks for putting up with my noobish questions. Time to play with GECK :D
AmplSi
I have different question than the one stated before, but I figure it still relates. I am currently using a modder's resource in NifSkope, and I have gotten to the point where I can begin texturing it. My only problem is that I have no idea how to interpret or use the UV map that it exports. Can anyone help me figure out the map?
