doomboy536
I'm playing a game using Sharing and Caring Companions, and I brought some of my Talon Company friends to Megaton. Apparently they're set as hostile to the inhabitants, so how can I change this? Do I need to use the console to set the two factions as friends, or do I need to use the GECK? Please help, I want the innocent bystanders to be friends with the heartless mercenaries. Maybe they can teach each other something...

anarion9
Once again I beg for help - can anyone please at least point me in the right direction? Hi,The Geck wiki has a tab for factions and under that is faction functions. The function setAlly is described there as the following: SetAlly Faction1 Faction2 F1toF2Flag (0/1) (optional) F2toF1Flag (0/1) (optional)ExamplesSetAlly BrotherhoodSteelFaction RivetCityFaction ; this makes the BrotherhoodSteelFaction and the RivetCityFaction allies with each otherSetAlly BrotherhoodSteelFaction RivetCityFaction 0 1 ; this makes the BrotherhoodSteelFaction an Ally of RivetCityFaction; RivetCityFaction a Friend to BrotherhoodSteelFactionNotesThe values for the flag mean: 0 = Ally (default) 1 = Friend The wiki also has console commands if you want to look into that but it is really easy to script out this function. In your case you could add a quest to the game and write a quick quest script that just said something like: scn makeTalonmorelikeableSCRIPT begin GameMode setAlly MegatonFaction TalonCompanyFaction 0 0 end Double check those faction names, I am at work so I cant verify. Good luck.
