KisukeOboro
Hi, I wanted to learn how to make my own mods for Skyrim VR coming from absolutely no coding experience. I'm following this video guide to start out with and I am wondering which version of Skyrim I should install. I have Skyrim VR that I am currently modding with, I wanted to test any mods I make on Skyrim SE first. But then when I open up Skyrim SE it says that the AE version is available to purchase. I completely forgot that they released the AE upgrade. I don't really understand how AE affects the mods but I think I heard that it was a bit weird and that Skyrim VR was basically the SE version and not the AE version? I think? So should I buy the AE version to make mods or stay with SE version? I guess what I'm trying to do is make mods in SE to test and then port over to VR and then test them there and then if it works then maybe make an AE version if it's possible? Thanks
bongodoctor
You should stick to SE - the mods will then just work when you import them into VR - mods that work in AE probably won't work in VR, it is possible to setup creation kit to work directly in VR but it isn't straight-forward and I find it too much hassle putting the headset on and off to test stuff. It is easy to test in SE and them import when when finished...
