After some time I decided to play skyrim again, I got freshly reinstaled windows and no matter what I try skyrim just not loading any mods.

loading with script extender

normal launcher

vortex

manual instaling mods

reinstal steam

reinstal skyrim

Skyrim just respond like there are no mod files at all, its running normal no errors, no craches just not loading mods.

This is not about vortex at all. If I try this without vortex, just paste mods in skyrim folder its not loading them. Everything else works DLCs, anniversary stuff, but if I try any mod it's like they're not there.

Also I tryed google it what is happeing and I found nothing.

Do you mean you pasted the mods in steam>steamapps>common>Skyrim>Data? If you are not using a mod manager this is where your mods go.

However they must be in an esp file or Skyrim will not recognize them. Unless of course they are texture files. Also they probably have other files which must be included with the esp file in order for Skyrim to load them.

For instance a very simple mod like "Unread Books Glow" will have three files in Data, a bsa, bsl and esp file. Skyrim needs those files in order to correctly load the mod. As you are on the Legendary forum I assume you are playing Legendary, even if you are not the principle still holds.

Unless you are a very experienced modder it is not recommended that you install mods manually. It is no wonder that your mods were not recognized by Skyrim.

Believe it or not this is about Vortex. the simple fact is you are not experienced enough to attempt to load mods manually. I have been playing and modding Skyrim for some years and I would not attempt to manually install mods, unless they were very simple mods.

My advice would be to go to the Vortex forum and start from scratch with installing Vortex and installing the mods you want. On that forum you will find expert advice on all aspects of Vortex. That is if you wish to use Vortex as your mod manager, there are two other mod managers which are commonly used, MO2, and NMM. I would recommend Vortex, not necessarily because it is a better mod manager, that is a matter of opinion, but because it has a dedicated forum here on Nexus and you can get expert advice as I already stated. After all Vortex was created and is managed and updated by Nexus so who else is more apt to help you with any questions or problems you may encounter with Vortex.

Also you can use "Collections" with Vortex, an idea I find intriguing.
