I'm considering uploading my version of the Oblivion soundtrack - I've replaced the music with other music I have. The only thing is, that music has come from studio recorded albums released to the market by a particular band. I'm fairly sure that this would be qualified as copyrighted material, and would be a most grievous no-no to upload, but I'd thought I would ask, and double-check. Cheers,phfor
Vagrant0 Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Unless the music is released under a creative commons liscense, something similar, or is otherwise specifically stated that it can be re-distributed, you cannot upload it legally anywhere. Even if it is released under creative common, or something similar, you may still need to provide credit or other information which promotes that artist.
