stease
First time modding Skyrim: I am working with an international human rights charity to create a campaign involving a Skyrim mod. So far we've got a c4d character designed (understanding this might not be the best software) but we're struggling to get him into game / we are running into issues with resolution / realism with the level of polygons the game can handle. Hoping someone here can lend a hand!!
maxarturo
For your first attempt at modding I've to tell you that you are way in deep waters with what you want to do, you have a vast variety of things to consider in order for your character to actually work in game, here are some examples: - You need to 'rig' the mesh to a valid Skyrim skeleton. - If it will be a 'humanoid' character here thing start to become complicated, like: rig the head for morph animation, rig the head for lip synchronization, rig the head for eye movement, rig the head for 'head parts'. Only those 2 above are walls of texts, and there is more, much more. My advice is to: Start by creating something easier and more simple, like creating a simple rabbit model and learn how to insert that 3d model into the game, this way you will learn the basics of creating and adding a custom made creature into the game that will actually work.
