guReMcO
At a certain point in the head of state quest you have to wait for the slaves to meet you at the Lincoln Memorial. So I wait and wait and when they finally show up at the metro-station near the memorial, they completely ignore me and start walking to the museum of history. And when I talk to Harlem there are no dialog options for the quest. After that they head to Rivet City...and to the Citadel after that. So I went back to the memorial killed all the slavers and when I find the group again there are no dialog options to finish the quest. I hope i didn't just kill all those slavers and disarmed all there mines and traps for nothing. So is there a way to fix this?
Baresark
you mean you killed all slaver after the slave gone from union temple?usualy you have to get the quest , kill all slaver and report to Harlem before they travel to lincoln memorial. In the quest Harlem ask to kill mutant but its slavers in fact.I ve never tried to send the slave when slavers still alive so i dun know is there is an issue with diaog. If you have a savegame you should restart the quest. wsmith8
I had the same problem. first i made a deal with the slavers. but then killed them at Hannibal's place. then started the quest with Hannibal by getting the picture from the museum. this definitely messed up some of the quest variables because, after i completed all of the objectives, the slaves just hung around the metro station. All of my quest stages showed complete but the slaves were waiting for me to kill all of the slavers. i read on other forums that i could just resurrect on and kill them again. unfortunately i couldn't resurrect the slavers because they were no longer there. my solution was to enter the following command line entry: set MS06.SlaversDead TO 99.00. Using the GECK, I found that this was the condition that the quest was looking for, However, I could not find where this variable get set to 99. Once i entered the command, i went to talk to Hannibal and he told me he was grateful for my help and gave me the dart gun schematics. then all the slavers proceed to the memorial and the quest was complete. I spent a lot of time trying to find a solution for this so i thought i would share what i found because it worked for me. i hope it works for anybody else with the same problem. This solution worked for me when nothing else did. Thanks kindly for posting this. I was becoming rather frustrated with Hannibal and Co sandboxing at the Metro enterance. Thinking I was being proactive, I'd killed the slavers outright before escorting them on their trek across the Capitol Wasteland. Even though I realize this post is old, I'm quoting it because it may help another frustrated player having the same issue.
fairuza
my solution was to enter the following command line entry: set MS06.SlaversDead TO 99.00Can someone explain this further? I entered this at the ~ command line and it just gave me 2 error messages. 1 was about not recognizing SlaversDead. Forgot the other.

I first had to kill all of the slavers EXCEPT for Leroy Walker (in the Maintenance Room under the Memorial - entrance by the steps). Then I had to meet Hannibal at the NW meeting place (waited 24 hours). Then I told him to charge the slavers. Once he gets to the Memorial, the 'Kill all slavers' option appeared. THEN I went and killer Leroy. THEN, after Leroy was dead, I went back outside and approached Hannibal, then opened the console (just push the '~' button) and typed set MS06.SlaversDead TO 99.00. And, sure enough, quest complete. So exhausting!
