EnvyMachinery
I'm trying to convert some armors and I'm using Blender for the first time. I have the two meshes I'm trying to use saved as .blend files and, after using the append function to import the second mesh, I can't figure out how to get them both to be visible at the same time so that I can fit one to the other. The only way I can find that will even let me swap views is by selecting this little thing that says "Browse Mesh Data to be linked."
EnvyMachinery
Also, I should clarify that I opened the original .nifs in Blender 2.49, saved them as .blend files, and am now trying to edit them in Blender 2.68. The interface looks drastically different depending on whether I open the .blend file or not, and I'm now also trying to append the .blend files into new ones that have nothing in them, but the meshes don't appear. EnvyMachinery
Okay, I'm dumb. Appending the object files rather than the mesh seems to have solved my issue.
