Deleted82427968User Posted August 11, 2022 Share Posted August 11, 2022 I have a mod that adds the missing pool balls problem is the meshes for the modded balls aren't as rounded as the vanilla pool balls. I figured I could juts copy the mesh from the vanilla pool ball, rename it to an existing modded pool ball. For instance, I renamed poolball2.dds (vanilla dds) to poolball1.dds and overwrite the modded poolball1.dds but in game now the pool ball 1 looks like pool ball 2. I have gimp and nifscope but I can't figure out how to add a texture to a mesh. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
sullyvanj93 Posted August 11, 2022 Share Posted August 11, 2022 You'll have to have an updated texture for each and every ball's mesh, with a different name. As far as adding the texture, you'll use nifskope to update each file. Have you tried googling "how to add a texture to a mesh in nifskope"? quite a few tutorials that can show you the process a lot easier than us texting out a walkthrough.
