Sudden Frame rate drop in mirrors edge.

So when i first bought the game it ran Perfectly. with physx enabled on the GPU i was pulling a solid 70+ frames per second except for the occasional drop to 39 FPS. So obviously my rig is more than capable of handling the game. I uninstalled and reinstalled the new 182.50 drivers and saw no performance improvement. Mirrors edge is installed on my XP installation. I know it isn't hardware related since the game was running 100% maxed out with physx and every other game i have i am getting insane frame rates on every other application i have (50 fps in crysis for example.) with no errors at all. Anybody have a clue what is going on?

 

Here are my rig specs.

 

EVGA 780i

 

Intel QX6700 oced to 3.2 ghz

 

EVGA gtx 285 Factory Oced to 675 mhz core, 1.5 ghz shader and 1/2 ghz memory

 

8gb's Gskill ddr2-800

 

Dual Raptor 150 gb one for XP/Vista/Kubuntu and one for Apps.

So when did your framerate get worse? When you installed the new drivers? If so, just revert to the older ones.
