Punchloop animation?

I experimented a bit with that type of attack and without a custom punchloop animation, this provided the best results for my version of Hyakuretsuken.

 

1) Made a new weapon copied from the generic Brass Knuckles, but cleared out the model. Why? Because then you appear bare-handed when equipped.

2) Ticked the automatic box and set Fire Rate at 100.

3) In the Art and Sound tab, I set Attack Anim to AttackLoop.

 

Results: I can hold down the button and my guy stands there with his left hand at his waist and his right hand in the "pistol" position (as if he were holding a pistol) and sorta vibrating. Whatever I'm hitting is basically hit-stunned. Since I have Bloody Mess, and I put Head Explode as the Crit On Death effect, I usually got a pile of gore after a few seconds.

 

Mashing the attack button to get both hands swinging wasn't working out for me and speeding up the attack animation wasn't that great either, so I experimented with alternatives. Setting the weapon to Auto and leaving the Attack Anim at its default basically gets you stuck in loop; its even worse if you try it out in VATS and worse yet if you've got Long Burst ticked. So yeah, the animation for DEFAULT HtH animation will need to be tweaked for looping if we want a more true Hokuto Shinken attack. I've been looking at it and some tutorials to see if I can work it, but nothing worth showing yet.
