zsp117
Hello, I was wondering if an experienced modder could answer me this question. Is it possible, through a mod, to completely remove a specific enchantment from the game? Let's say I wanted to rebalance magic by removing the "forify <school>" enchantments, thus making it impossible to reduce spell casting cost to 0%. The idea being that I would edit the related perks to compensate. I've never used the creation kit before. I was just curious and my googling efforts have been fruitless as most people are only concerned with adding new enchantments to the game rather than removing existing ones. PubliusNV
I'm not sure it's exactly what you're looking for, but the Mighty Magick Skyrim mod on Nexus has an optional component in it that does do away with fortify school like you want, and replaces it with enhanced school (which instead of reducing the magicka costs, increases the strength of the spell). Perhaps you could look into that mod to see how it was done.
transientfaith
In the Object Window, go to Magic > Enchantment. Type "fortify" in the filter. Start editing what you see. Not sure if editing them will retroactively change items the player has already enchanted though.
