pontypool
I have reluctantly attempted to download a mod for mount and blade 2.It's called settlement icons, a nice simple one I think, which shows quests available on the map from a greater distance so you can know there's something important going on there before travelling over to have a look. It seems pretty straightforward, right click the file/properties/unblock then extract the contents and move the subsequent folder into the mount and blade modules folder. When I started the game, the menu does indeed sense the mod where I can activate it. I am warned that it's unofficial and talewords aren't responsible for it and proceed. The mod won't let me run the game, I have had to delete the folder from within modules. I had an error message.
pontypool
could anyone reply please?I am not a noob, but haven't been into games for a long time (due to children) I have only just got back into gaming as the children are now bigger and need less attention because of school starting. I just need some help on how to get these mods to work. as In my opinion they break the realism. For example there's one mod that means when you're using polearms you can skewer multiple enemies. After playing total war games, this was a basic mechanic... if you plough through infantry with cavalry you damage multiple enemies. but not so in mount and blade??I have to get that mod. it seems essential/ anyway please reach out to me.
