What’s the most number of Mods you’ve played in Skyrim without problems?

Im honestly asking because I wanna know if I should play through the vanilla version first before modding.

 

Also, Im curious to see just how much overhauling/redesigning/curtailing to personal taste can reasonably be done for what would be called an actual playthrough ^^
