bben46
It's possible you used my uninstall/reinstall procedure, located here: http://s1.zetaboards.com/TheStormRavenLibr.../1446421/1/#new If so, it is important to clean the registry to remove any old references that may be left behind. It is also important to restart your computer after Uninstalling and deleting the Oblivion folders - both in the location you have installed to, and the 'documents and settings' folder that holds your save games. And before running the registry cleaner - this allows the cleaner to identify any references as orphans and enables them to be deleted. Then you must restart the computer again after cleaning the registry to allow windows to reorganize its registry without the stuff that was removed. I am wondering if there might be something in the shader package causing this. Or a setting in the video card (not from Oblivion) A vanilla install looks like this: - Note that there are NO textures or Meshes folders - they are created when you install a mod that needs them. Contents of a clean install \data folder Music (folder)Shaders (folder)Video (folder)Credits (text) Oblivion - Meshes.bsaOblivion - Misc.bsaOblivion - Sounds.bsaOblivion - Textures - Compressed.bsaOblivion - Voices1.bsaOblivion - voices2.bsaOblivion.esm A good place to look for video card settings is this site: http://www.tweakguides.com/
JenniferAnne
Hey Cremdogz, did you find a solution to your problem? It just happened to me as well, left SI for the mainland and my character is now surrounded by an annoying green haze (didn't change/move/fiddle/alter anything); if I load a previous save in SI, all is OK. Tried looking around for a solution w/o success. :yucky:
