How to fix mouse 4 and 5 switched?

The game thinks my mouse 4 is button mouse 5 and and my mouse 5 is button mouse 4. I've never had this happen before.

 

So when I bind an action to mouse 4 and I see the screen promt to perform that action, I see the icon for mouse 5 on the screen instead.

 

For now, I reverse the two buttons in my mouse settings before I start the game, and revert them to default after.

 

Changing the keycodes in the registry won't do the trick as it will just give the same results as changing the keybindings in the game.

 

I would like to fix the game so I don't have to change my mouse buttons around every time I want to play it.

 

Is anyone else having this same issue?

 

 

 

PS The "Enable program spcific settings" in the pic haven't worked since moving from win 7 to win 10.
