Isn't there simply a sub folder in meshes where the Whiterun outside mesh is stored? There has to be a default location. I'm hoping someone knows where that is then I can just check it, delete whatever's there, and it should be good to go.Edited by ODdesigns, 06 August 2022 - 01:24 PM. 14 August 2022 - 03:22 AMExcerptDO NOT DOWNLOADThis stupid f***ing mod will makeFull of garbage scriptsDO NOT DOWNLOADEntire comment (wall of text) DO NOT DOWNLOAD.Blacks out the screen for "doing updates" every time you get close to it.In the middle of combat? This stupid f***ing mod will make you blind so you can't see for 30-45 seconds while it "does updates".Also, want to remove this from your load-order? Can't. It's one of the mods that will brick your save if you try to get rid of it. Full of garbage scripts.DO NOT DOWNLOAD. You will regret it. Not worth the ruined character and getting killed over "doing updates".Edited by ODdesigns, 14 August 2022 - 03:23 AM. 14 August 2022 - 03:24 PMExcerpt:The blacking out is BSto knock some of the arrogant, controlling attitude out of the moddersEXCEPT this stupid mod that is impossible to remove or even disableEntire comment (wall of text) It happens every single time you come close to the *****. It's not doing it when I'm at the Sidrat, it's doing it when you're about 1000 meters away from the Sidrat, when it first loads into the cell. The blacking out is BS, because you can walk around in the blackout, so it would make you MORE likely to fall, not less. It's just an abusive feature implemented for no other reason but because the modder doesn't care if their mod screws up other parts of the game. Its this attitude: "the mod controls the game now, f the player and let's troll them with stupid, pointless black out screens to get them killed for fun..." I develop mods for a number of other games, and in one of the games there is documentation from the developer on certain features that say "don't make the mod do these two things combined together because it will piss of players and make them hate you". Skyrim needs some disclaimers like this for the modding community, to knock some of the arrogant, controlling attitude out of the modders who think their mod doing whatever it feels like doing is more important than providing a non-troll, non-abusive gaming experience. As for the saves, normally good advice, I use fallrim tools, and I've often clean my saves which fixes 99% of save crashes when changing mods (which I try to keep to a minimum anyways since Skyrim doesn't like that on existing characters) but this is the only mod currently in my load order (as far as I can tell) that will not let you remove it on any character without ruining the save. Removing it actually doesn't even cause it to crash on loading, it bricks the save and EVERY save where this mod was included with a "corrupted save" error. There's no way to fix it, once it's removed every save for your character is broken and ruined. I don't want this mod in my load order, it doesn't provide enough benefit for the headache, it's actually not very cool (the novelty factor wears off after about an hour and it's just another claustrophobic dwemer house mod with tiny low ceilings and a bunch of annoying interior rooms you actually have to load to go from one to the other), but I have hundreds of hours on characters with perfect, error free saves and setups EXCEPT this stupid mod that is impossible to remove or even disable. Basically I just avoid the nature area around Riften now because of this mod, as that region is unplayable with the constant black screens and load messages. I can't even count the number of time lower level characters have been killed because of the stupid black screens caused by this mod (fortunately higher level characters are tough enough to take the beating while the mod tries to troll and kill your player for lols).Edited by ODdesigns, 14 August 2022 - 03:54 PM. Wow. Mod author is an a-hole. Also, thanks for making me immediately hate Beyond Skyrim: Argonia now, if the people creating it have such as toxic, controlling attitude. Imagine when Beyond Skyrim: Argonia comes out, nobody will be allowed to convert any of the assets to CBBE/UNP or to work with any of the dozens of other basic necessity mods that nearly every Skyrim player uses, just because the authors are arrogant, controlling twats. Might as well dump the project in the garbage now.Edited by ODdesigns, Today, 09:33 PM.
