SpeedyB64
All hail the Batch Action window! What you do is select all the stuff you want the water to reflect and hit the - key the window will pop up with all the stuff you selected listed in it, then select the reflected option (for things above water) and choose your cell and then the water object, then hit the Do button. Then do the same for Refracted things (under water). Anything that goes through the water surface should be reflected and refracted.

SpeedyB64
I generally just use the utility water and just put it in, Does it still work if you ignore the error?
rensole
tried to use the same water as you but i get the error: WATER: loading water type 'WaterTypeUtility'in a worldspace with no set water noise Context: DEFAULT"yes to all"will disable all warnings for this context. when i press yes to all, i still get the error over and over... Now what do i need to do now ?
Kieran88
Hey,speedyB64, thanks for the help (i'm colaborating on the map) but I've tried the batch action thing and it's still not reflecting. I used the utility water as well to see if it made a difference. Also, I'm getting the same error as rense but yes to all works for me so it's not a problem, my water just wont reflect my interior and looks like runny custard lol. Please halp, apprechiate it. p.s. I had a look at the vegas mod, looks sweet man. Cheers
SpeedyB64
I'm not sure what to do in this case  It just seems to work for me.I would experiment with it. rensole:You should be able to just click yes to all over and over until it stops (It should) Kieran88:Hmmm. You must be doing something wrong, make sure you select reflect in the batch action window with all your things you want reflected selected, and make sure you select the cell you are in and the water you want your objects reflect in. Then do the same with the refract option.
Kieran88
Yo, thanks again for getting back to us speedy. I've got it sorted, I basicaly just started again with it and it worked, I must have been doing something wrong. I tried the cave water type so I dunno if that made a difference or not. Do you ever use a water noise texture? Was about to create one, just curious. Anyway, thanks a lot for the help mate. I think rens is still having trouble with it tho, anyways. cheers. BadPenney
tried to use the same water as you but i get the error: WATER: loading water type 'WaterTypeUtility'in a worldspace with no set water noise Context: DEFAULT"yes to all"will disable all warnings for this context. when i press yes to all, i still get the error over and over... Now what do i need to do now ?I have seen that error message in the GECK for cells that I haven't even modified. I've also seen error messages about collision data, unrecognized NIFs and missmatched textures that I haven't touched. Makes me think that some of the error messages I get are really artifacts from vanilla Fallout.
