Guy03276
So I'm starting modding again, for the first time in a while (about 5 years)... And am starting an ambitious project... Probably not a good idea, but, hey, whatever... Anyways Part of the project is to give an option to level alchemy with cooking, as well, cooking is a type of alchemy. My questions are 1: in food recipes, is there a way to use alternative ingredients? Example 1: Grilled cheese sandwich- requires Bread, Butter, Eidar cheese OR Goat cheese slice. Example 2: Pan Bread: Flour, Salt, Chicken Egg OR Rock Warble Egg OR Pine Thrush Egg. I know I can make multiple recipes to cover variations, and hide them if ingredients aren't found, but just wondering if There was a simpler way. Question 2: Is there a way to increase a potion/food item experience value without increasing it's gold value? Part of the reason for this is I want to reduce the excessive amount of gold generated by creating Alchemy Potions while not reducing the experience gain from creating them, or conversely add experience gained by cooking without increasing the value. Yes, I've already figured out how to tie food cookpots and recipes to alchemy, and plan on adding more complex recipes that are tied to alchemy skills... Such as Potato soup is a base skill, but with a alchemy skill of 20 venison stew is craftable, and at Skill 30, you can make pie crusts, apple pie filling, then combine them into an apple pie... Later, say alchemy skill 50, Beef Wellington or Pasta Cabonara. (Please forgive the non-lore names, those will be adjusted later.) Thanks.
