WestdykeAutos
I've got a pretty annoying problem, every time I try to use a mod with custom weapon textures, they don't work for some reason. instead, they look white, and flicker between weird environmental textures but they never display the proper ones. the flickering happens when you move around, I think it has something to do with graphic options, lighting etc or something? but I can't figure out what causes it. (btw I've already tried that InvalidateOlderFiles thing, it doesn't make a difference) thx for ANY help
kinggambrinus
im having this exact same problem. when i try and use raider power armor, the ion pulse rifle roboco certified and the gun fighter mods all with custom textures i get the same issue where the models display but they are textured with background and environment textures instead. the TIS-1 laser sniper rifle mod is uneffected and works great. i have 1.4i have and run FOSEmy graphics are set to full on everything and my rig can handle the settings. i would love to figure out this issue as im sure the OP would. Guest deleted934561
I had that problem with skins on monsters after I installed MMMF and took it out and it stopped I figured it had something to do with it over riding other mods textures and meshes. I don't have a fix for this problem yet. So far all I have done is reinstalled a fresh version of FO3 and reinstalled the mods again this time taking more time to read what it is compatible or not with. I noticed also with npc textures and meshes you have a lot of the same problems you all listed.and in my other modded version when I downloaded armor or clothes or npcs they called for specific skins textures meshes and bodies that when installed would mess up other mods I had that worked great. What I am trying to do now is see if renaming the conflicting meshes helps or moving them into sub folders helps instead over riding them.because I am starting from scratch it may take me a while to post if it worked or notsorry if this don't answer your question
WestdykeAutos
thanks for your reply but at the moment, I'm only trying to run 3 or 4 texture mods that don't conflict with each other at all, as they're for different things. custom texture mods have NEVER worked for me ever since I got the game.
