drockswell
first, let me apologize if this topic has been beaten to death. i have tried to search for answers, but the topics are a couple years old and pretty much everything i find is in relation to new vegas. i am about to replay for the first time, and plan to mod it a fair bit.. (how excited am i to be getting back into the wasteland?!?)so looking for advice on this topic from the amazing people on this amazing site..i am more interested in the ability to add any mod for fo3 and how well this translates to quality gameplay than i am about the ease in general of using the app, i.e. one touch download, or less steps to install a mod, etc. i used nmm for fnv and skyrim, the first games i ever modded, but i get the feeling from what i have been able to glean thus far that there may be something to using fomm this time, as it sounds like there are less compatibility issues when using fomm. all right guys, i guess thats it. i really appreciate any help on this... thanks alot, daniel
OnoSendai58
I always use FOMM, along with TES Mod Manager for Skyrim, BOSS for load order and TES5Edit to tie the mods all together, never NMM. I run 100+ mods and have had zero problems in 5 years.
Subject96
I recently tried NMM after reinstalling on a "new" PC and had tons of issues with older mods with it and a few with new mods. So I went back to FOMM along with just manually installing everything. Edited November 2, 2013 by Subject96
