New Vegas Lags Near Light Sources

New Vegas just started lagging near light sources (i.e lamps, fires, etc.). It lags extremely bad in buildings that use interior lighting in close quarters such as Vaults or places like the basement area in REPCONN HQ where you kill the Nightkin.
