Rekana
Probably a bit of an old problem around here, and I just hope I don't piss anyone else off with this...small problem... http://img516.imageshack.us/img516/3024/weirderer.png http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/4459/wtfimmissingtexture.jpg http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/5377/wha.png As you can see, its not a game ending problem, but it is slightly annoying. To me the more important problem at the moment is the Blades armor, since it makes my follower look like a jack@%#.The problem with the armor is with the gloves and the helmet directly. The gloves are what makes his arms disappear, and the helmet is self explanitory. (Edit: A little off topic, and I hate asking this, but if anyone see's some flaw with the way I have the Load order set up, feel free to post giving some form of help moving it around, or maybe some other mod that does the same thing, but better in your own opinion, :thanks: (Sorry for asking so much of all of you when I am so new.)) BossDweebe
You are very patient to play for so long with all that purple. It may cause problems identifying what textures are missing if you have continued adding mods, and don't know which mod the textures belong to. (better cities ?) I have had one mod that had the path incorrect in some meshes. If you look at the items in question in NifScope you may find that they have some textures that start with C:\Programs - or something similar. All paths should start with Textures\ ---(This only applies if your game is installed to a location other than default ie. - D:\Games Or - you may have got a sub folder in the wrong place when you installed the mod.I had a similar problem with some fire rings, but as I did not have the name of the missingtextures I just grabbed a marble texture from somewhere else and used that. (I expect it was UOP related, but just a guess). It may be load order, but I doubt it is shaders.Make SI first after the esm's. Then UOP and SI -UOPThen I would think all your other DLC's and their patches.Put the relevant patch next after the DLC. (I don't have any of these DLC's - so only guessing)Natural weather near the bottom (mine is at bottom except for Duke Patrick's stuff)Anything that specifies last in the read me should be last. ie,- Duke That's a start, but the main thing with load order relates to what one mod may do that changes something in another mod, and which item/object/texture you want to prevail. The last to load wins.
bben46
Seeing the doors and windows in the IC affected makes me believe some mod has overwritten the vanilla textures, then can't find it's own texture that was supposed to replace them. To fix it first you may have to identify the mod (or mods if more than one)that causes it. Try disabling your mods in groups of about 10, then narrowing it down by adding them back one or two at a time when you find the group. In a mod with meshes and textures, they are usually in their own folder - look in the zipped file, extract the meshes folder to the Oblivion\data\meshes folder and the textures folder to the Oblivion\data\textures folder. Do the same with any other folder in the zipped file. Usually only the esp file and if present .bsa files go into the \Data folder One of the most common things I have seen is a folder inside of the data folder with the name of the mod. It may have the texture and mesh files you need. Example Oblivion\Data\mod_xyz. Then inside the \mod_xyz You may find \Mod_xyz\textures and mod_xyz\meshes folder These folders Meshes and textures inside of the \data\mod_xyz folder need to be moved into the \data\textures and \data\meshes folders. The easiest way to do this is to right click and hold the folder you want to move, then drag it into the \data folder. You will probably get a message that you will overwrite files. Actually it will not overwrite, but append to the original folder. Also, your bashed patch should be either last or very near last in your load order. It's probably out of date also. There are quite a few mods I don't recognize in the list and don't know what they modify or where they should go in the load order. Note: your mod list is difficult to follow the way you have it, sure it looks cool to center everything, but it makes it hard to read. On the other hand, your pics are very good and show precisely what your problems are.

On the other hand, your pics are very good and show precisely what your problems are. About the bash patch, I used the FCOM guide and helper thing and it keeps placing it there for some reason so I figured it would work. But I moved it to the end as you suggested but it didn't help, but it was an interesting pickup, thanks. I used the NifScope idea to locate the textures and found that I did indeed have them in the right place. ~Thanks, this did not cross my mind! I tried to reinstall the Better Cities textures. ~no changeThe QTP Textures. ~no change I do not have any extra folders inside the Data folder that would contain the odd textures I need, but thanks for being in depth, makes me feel like I am getting pro help :thanks: Something odd I did do was move the whole folder to my desktop, reinstall the game and move BACK all the other things and overwrite everything. ^ || THIS DID FIX THE PURPLE ISSUE. The only problem now is with the Blades armor, which is still only a minor annoyance.
