Sweet6Shooter
do you own a book? a usb drive? you need to move all of what you want to keep out and out of the way and do what I said. Please believe me, I have gone through 60 hard drives I know exactly whats going on. you will never fix that bug until you remove those edits and entries made by that binary programs instructions to your hard ware registry information. Never. The whole point of Direct -x is to trans plant how the video displays data and works on the operating system, in order for that binary to work, IT must write information for that game in the registry to use only it's instructions. You must remove it. Unibule, ccleaner might? I doubt it. you need a reg cleaner at most. I know it does not effect other games, other games had other data used. You freely admitted a mistake, ok so that is a done deal, now you need to undo it. when the uninstaller runs, as it is windows, it leaves behind garbage, every one knows this. as long as that binary language is present in the registry, it will remain forever. the windows cleaner might find it? but uninstall pro is also better too. think....hard. be cautious and carefully , you said you have other game? but the display is now doing the same thing? you have no choice. you can't make mistakes like this with out what comes with it. give it some more thought, Google the software ( Uninstaller pro ) use the demo to fix your machines problems put the game back on and run it, set it back up and don't repeat the mistake. I'll be around for you. kitty.Alright, I'll do that. Thanks for the help.

I did as you said, deleted the ini files, moved the data folder away from any program files folders, deleted the whole thing, ran the registry cleaner, and reinstalled the game. I started it up, let it detect my hardware, changed the resolution to my monitor's, and the same problems persisted. Low resolution, stuttering, the whole thing. I looked in the game folder, and it seems that for some reason, when I had steam reinstall the game, it installed everything I had in my data folder from before, mods included. I don't know why. Purr4me
looks like a site hic up? doubled the post. Ok, lets then have some fun with steam logic, see if can handle some rather inventive programing. Only if your game? Go into the game Root folder. Find the following files.high.ini.<-----------this is set to read only, change it so you can edit it low.ini<-----------this is set to read only, change it so you can edit it medium.ini<-----------this is set to read only, change it so you can edit it VeryHigh.ini <-- this one is what we want for the others.now open and copy all data from this file (VeryHigh.ini) and close the file. NOTE: you now have that data help in the clipboard, open each of the other files, select all and paste, save the files and close then one at a time. RESET ! red only attributes, don't forget or steam will replace them again.Run the games launcher, let it select the screens resolution again. only this time ! steams in for a shock.your game settings will be maxed out, No matter what takes place. back up these edited files encase you have other problems. Go into steams configuration settings, and Now have IT scan and set the graphics visual.if that does not work? nothing will. kitty.

Prevents altering the inside data. right click the file and select properties, uncheck the box for read only on what is posted. edit the files as posted. reset files as posted. re-run the games setup / AKA graphics setup is controlled by the games launcher. Is also controlled by other programs too, nmm , Fomm, steam. all of these programs will fight each other if the data is not set to "YOUR PREFERENCES" we need to sort of lie to the software that is controlling Their source information. if we set that source to our specifications, then their programs have no choice but to follow it. what bothers me here is this. Before you played around with ENB binaries? this was no problem. now, for some reason ,it is. and it should not be. I even took out my system drive, plopped in a brand new hard drive, and install your system on it, downloaded all data and proceeded with what I posted, yeah, after messing it up just as you did. Used uni-blue after all was undone to clear onerous entries still yet found in my registry, pointing to that games name sake, and hardware settings for it from that binary. once removed, on reboot ,EVEN windows stopped and reset the systems display settings, base install of windows is 800 x 600 yuc ! I set display to max settings and rebooted, installed the games only in prep to run the game / prior to running its' graphic setup , I edited the ini files in the game directory to maintain maximum settings found in the very high.ini file....placed /replaced other ini settings with it. and save them, ran the games programing, it set all data to desktop resolutions. but. on first launch of any of these game, it WILL run at 800 x 600 default. no work around. now, install and initialise fake full screen, set the game to run at desktop display pixels, and run the game. I have full (1280 x 1024 ) screens in game. My monitor has a limit and it's not the same as yours:AMD Radeon HD 6550D [Display adapter]DELL 1707FP [Monitor] (17.1"vis, s/n XX-064180-XXXXX-648-13HS, April 2006) if you use a TV set, its' hardware settings are involved with the OS ,not the game. in fomm you need to see if the hardware settings are in fact in argument status. between all access rights to the drivers. I'll make a couple of screen shots showing this if you want. but still ? if you do not clean things? how did you get there in the first place? brings us back to "Overboard?". binary installs leaves no roll back, do you at least understand that? you can't uninstall things if they are overwritten, you have to remove and replace with originals. there are no backups to uninstall any ENB's Clearly states, use at own risk. so. yes, Overboard to fix the damage done. if you can? kitty

I think it's due to my lack of understanding on this. However, in the options of the launcher, I changed the aspect ratio to 16:10, and upped the resolution, and it fixed everything. I don't know why, or how, but at least I can play it now, and that's good enough for me. I appreciate your help in this matter, and I'm sorry for my lack of understanding in everything. If its' where you want it, leave it that way, Just be aware any other programs will take presidency if opened up on these items, it is no different than editing a file with one program verses another. Or editing the esp plugins, the last accessed wins, a trick known for load order fixes, when the program refuses to load where you want it, FO3utility, can set the file to load last only if it refuses to load underneath a other file. I see this a lot. If that file is edited by Fo3utility.jar and saved, just opened and saved, it will end up at the bottom of the load order regardless of what is messing with it, Java takes over as the last editing program. it will act as though it was just installed. This beats Boss too. (aspect ratio to 16:10) <-- That is hardware if it's blank then defaults are used. but this is the correct action and device. Fomm has this too, Steam has this also.Leave it as is. Good. kitty.
