Midas Magic Repeating Sound Bug

Hi,

 

I seem to be having problems with midas magic. After I acquired the "Midas Missile Storm" spell I decided to test it out on a nearby Arcane University battlemage. When I was done killing the poor, defenceless battlemages I reloaded, only to find that the spells sound effects (that obnoxious pneumatic boinging) was still playing. The spell was gone, the sound was not.

 

I've tried fast traveling, fighting, casting different spells, casting the same spell, saving, reloading, praying (not really), and waiting to see if it would go away on it's own. None of what I tried worked, obviously, and I can't simply load an old save as I idiotically saved over my only spare. If anyone could tell me a solution other than uninstalling midas magic, I would greatly appreciate it.
